Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Community Manager to manage and grow our paid online community hosted on Circle or Skool.
This is not just a moderation role โ we need someone who understands engagement, retention, and community-driven growth. Your main goal will be to create an active, valuable, and engaging space where members feel supported, connected, and excited to participate.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations inside the community (Circle or Skool)
Create and schedule engaging posts (discussion prompts, polls, wins, questions)
Welcome and onboard new members
Moderate conversations and ensure positive culture
Increase member engagement and participation
Plan and execute community events (live sessions, challenges, AMAs)
Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements
Support retention strategies to reduce churn
Work closely with the founder/team to align community with business goals
Requirements
Proven experience managing paid online communities (Circle, Skool, Kajabi, Mighty Networks, etc.)
Strong understanding of community engagement strategies
Excellent written English communication skills
Experience creating engaging content
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Knowledge of online business, coaching, or digital education communities is a plus
Preferred Skills
Experience with email marketing & announcements
Basic graphic creation (Canva)
Familiarity with automation tools
Understanding of community growth funnels

Part-time / Ongoing role
Flexible hours (but must check in daily)
