Overview
TeachCast is hiring fun and engaging online instructors to work from home for our ongoing 2025-2026 school year. Teachers must live in the United States and have a world-traveler mindset. NEW FOR 2025 - starting pay up to $17.79/hr (with ESL Certification), with additional bonuses up to $20/hr.
The Role
- As an online ESL instructor, the primary duty is to teach students in an engaging manner. Teachers must be self-driven, energetic, and sensitive toward an education culture that differs from the USA.The Perks

We provide a stable environment for our teachers. Our teachers are hired as W-2 employees, and we pay via direct deposit biweekly.

Requirements
This role is remote and USA-based for teachers living in any state except: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington, or Washington DC.
The Block Schedule
Teaching hours start in the evening and vary by time zone. Blocks are typically four hours per day (20 hours per week), but can be adjusted. Shifts may be Sunday-Thursday or Sunday-Wednesday. Blocks can start and end at any point within the listed times. Note: DST adjustments in Spring 2026 may shift times by one hour.
- Technology Requirements:
- Bandwidth: minimum 3 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download; WiFi or hardwired
- Computer: Processor 2.0 GHz or faster (dual core), 2.8 GHz or faster for single core; RAM 4 GB or more
- Operating Systems: PC Windows 10 or newer; Mac OS X 10.11 or newer
