Summary The Business Development & Marketing Senior Project Manager, working in collaboration with and in support of the firm’s strategic initiatives, provides executive level project management and operational support to the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer (CMBDO). The role works closely with senior leaders across the Marketing & Business Development (MBD) and Finance functions to advance firm and departmental initiatives. This position is responsible for managing complex, multi stakeholder projects; preparing leadership and partnership materials; analyzing trends and return on investment (ROI); supporting change management initiatives; and improving processes that enhance client service, operational efficiency, and team effectiveness. Location This position is located in our New York office and offers a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities Executive & Project Management Support Serve as the primary executive level project manager supporting the CMBDO. Manage complex firmwide and departmental initiatives, ensuring clear scope, timelines, accountability, and progress tracking. Develop agendas, manage meetings, and produce leadership updates, partner briefings, and presentation materials. Prepare initial draft presentations and written materials for CMBDO use. Maintain departmental organizational charts and act as a liaison between recruiting and the CMBDO on staffing needs. Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvement Support development and implementation of best practices related to onboarding, AI adoption, content standardization, and value propositions. Conduct research on innovative approaches, analyze findings, and prepare recommendations for leadership. Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce costs, and strengthen the firm’s competitive position. Support change management planning and execution for MBD initiatives. Financial, Data & ROI Support Assist with the firm budgeting process and administration of invoices. Track data, analyze trends, and capture ROI metrics in CRM systems where appropriate. Manage and evaluate the firm’s sports ticket program, including recommendations related to utilization and ROI. Coordination, Communication & Relationship Management Coordinate extensive international and domestic travel, including U.S. and Asia travel, utilizing firm administrative support as appropriate. Maintain calendars and schedules, coordinating across multiple stakeholders to advance projects efficiently. Build and maintain strong working relationships to ensure effective collaboration across teams and functions. Partner with leadership to support training, mentoring, and professional development initiatives for staff. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Desired Skills Law firm and/or professional services experience preferred. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives simultaneously. Ability to analyze complex information, identify trends, and translate data into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship building skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to effectively utilize AI tools. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum Years of Experience 10+ years’ experience supporting large, complex projects in a project management role. Physical Demands Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. No immigration sponsorship is available for this position. The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $149,279 - $197,799 per year depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
