Role Overview
Seeking a Collaborating Physician to support a dual‑certified PMHNP/FNP in a reproductive psychiatry setting.
This role is low‑volume, low‑burden, and ideal for a physician who values clarity, professionalism, and clean operational systems.
- What You’ll Do
- Provide chart reviews as required by California regulations
- Offer clinical consultation as needed (predictable, low frequency)
- Support safe, ethical, patient‑centered psychiatric care
- Maintain timely communication and documentation
- What This Role Does Not Include
- No direct patient care
- No on‑call
- No prescribing
- No administrative meetings
- No insurance paneling
- Ideal Candidate
- California Board‑certified psychiatrist, OB‑GYN, or family physician with mental health experience with CA DEA
- Willing to be the medical director and own 51% shares of my organization (for corporate compliance because a nurse can only own 49% shares of a medical practice).
- Comfortable with telehealth workflows
- Values clear communication, boundaries, and predictable expectations
