Role Description
- The Vendor Management Business Analyst (12-month contract assignment) supports the Program Director and Vendor Manager in sourcing, evaluating, onboarding, and managing vendors across the organization. This role serves as a key liaison for vendor relationships, ensuring performance, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain vendor management policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support indirect sourcing teams in evaluating vendor capabilities, service levels, and commercial terms.
- Monitor day‑to‑day vendor performance against contractual obligations, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Lead vendor evaluations, scorecards, and assessment activities to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, serving as a primary point of contact.
- Identify and escalate operational issues, risks, or performance concerns.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and other business units to ensure streamlined vendor engagement.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of vendor agreements, certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Advise Indirect Sourcing to ensure preventive maintenance programs and SLAs are included in contracts.
- Support smooth vendor transitions, renewals, and offboarding processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the vendor management program.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs and uphold company values.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Requirements
- Strong understanding of business operations, procurement, or vendor management best practices.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Experience with any of the following preferred but not required:
- Service Channel
- VMDM
- Coupa
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
