Brand Designer + Social Media Content System (Canva) - Fitness/Wellness Company

We are a growing fitness and wellness company that works with both individual clients and large corporate partners. We have an existing logo and color palette, but we need a professional designer to evaluate what we have, refine it where needed, build out a complete brand guidelines document, and create a library of Canva-based social media templates that our non-designer team member can use day to day.

This is a two-part project:

Part 1: Brand Guidelines

We have a logo and some initial brand assets, but they have not been professionally audited or formalized. We would like you to review what we have with a critical eye, suggest refinements or improvements, and then produce a complete brand guidelines document that covers:

• Logo usage rules (sizing, spacing, acceptable backgrounds, what not to do)

• Color palette (primary, secondary, accent) with exact hex codes, RGB, and CMYK values

• Typography (font pairings for headings, body, and accent text, plus fallback/web-safe options)

• Photography and imagery style direction

• Iconography and graphic element guidelines

• Tone and visual personality (how the brand should look and feel across materials)

• Application examples showing how the guidelines come to life across social, print, and digital

This document will be the foundation for everything going forward, including our website, so it needs to be thorough and professional.

Part 2: Social Media Template Library (Canva)

Our primary platforms are TikTok and Instagram, with potential to expand to others. We need a designer who can:

• Recommend a complete template plan. We want you to tell us what types of templates we need based on the kind of content a fitness/wellness brand typically posts. This could include things like quote cards, testimonials, before/after posts, stat highlights, program announcements, event promos, story templates, reels covers, carousel posts, etc., but we want your expert recommendation on the full set.

• Build all templates in Canva so our team member (who has very limited design experience) can swap in photos, update text, and publish without needing to make design decisions

• Make every template dead simple to use. Locked layouts, placeholder text, image drop zones, pre-set brand fonts and colors. Our admin should be able to produce on-brand content without any design skills.

• Organize everything cleanly within Canva (folders, naming conventions, etc.) so the library is easy to navigate and maintain

The templates should be flexible enough to work with a range of content (client photos, gym shots, motivational content, corporate wellness updates, data/results graphics) while maintaining a consistent, professional look.

We are a fitness and wellness company that provides personalized coaching, nutrition guidance, and accountability programs. Our brand personality is energetic, confident, and approachable, but not gimmicky. We work with real people getting real results, and the brand should reflect that. Our current color scheme is built around yellow/gold, black, and white.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong portfolio showing brand identity work (guidelines documents, logo systems, visual identity)

• Demonstrated experience creating social media content for fitness, wellness, health, or lifestyle brands

• Expertise with Canva, including building template systems for non-designers to use

• Experience with Instagram and TikTok content formats (posts, stories, reels, carousels)

• Ability to critique and refine existing brand assets, not just execute on a brief

• Bonus: experience with corporate wellness or B2B branding in addition to consumer-facing fitness content
