Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Maitsys is seeking an experienced SAP M&A Advisor to lead and execute SAP-related activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in establishing new SAP environments and carving out SAP landscapes to support joint ventures or business separations. Responsibilities • Lead SAP workstreams in M&A, divestiture, or joint venture projects, including strategy, design, and execution • Stand up new SAP systems or create system copies to establish separate operating environments for acquired or divested entities • Design and implement data carve-out strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to the parent organization • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define transition service agreements (TSAs) and operational readiness plans • Oversee SAP landscape architecture, migration, and system build activities in collaboration with Basis and functional teams • Identify dependencies, risks, and critical paths for SAP M&A activities • Provide technical and functional advisory support across ECC and S/4HANA systems • Collaborate with integration partners to ensure successful system separation, data migration, and go-live Skills • 10+ years of SAP experience, including 3+ years focused on M&A, carve-outs, or divestitures • Proven experience building or cloning SAP systems to support M&A activity • Strong understanding of SAP Basis, system architecture, data migration, and security models • Familiarity with S/4HANA migrations, landscape design, and cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to advise executive-level clients • Hands-on experience coordinating cross-functional SAP teams during system separations or integrations • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, life sciences, or consumer goods) • Familiarity with SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT), SAP TDMS, or third-party carve-out tools • Prior consulting experience with Big 4 or large system integrators Company Overview • Maitsys is a dynamic IT consulting company with a global presence, specializing in digital transformation, cloud solutions, SAP migration/support and cybersecurity.
