- What We're Looking For:
- A highly accurate, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced billing environment.
- Prior experience handling general office responsibilities and working with billing or financial documentation.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm, ten-key by touch, and strong data entry skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and basic safety practices required. - Prepare and review all billing forms to ensure accurate and complete claims submission to insurance carriers.
- Enter documentation and adjustments into the computer system to maintain correct account balances.
- Review and identify charge discrepancies and complete all interdepartmental requests for rebilling.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain required records, reports, and files.
- Evaluate account information and apply follow-up procedures as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
