Steady assignments. Reliable pay. House Digest is looking for enthusiastic freelance writers to join our team. Ideal candidates have at least three years of experience writing content for print or the web with a focus on interior design, gardening, DIY renovations, and clever home hacks. We're seeking creative, self-motivated individuals who can produce high-quality, engaging content independently spanning everything from houseplant care and lawn maintenance to thrifting finds and kitchen appliance recommendations.
This is a remote freelance role with flexible hours and consistent work. U.S. and international writers are welcome to apply.

- What You'll Be Doing:
- Claim and complete articles from a list of available assignments
- Research and write 300—900-word articles using our custom CMS
- Write content with a quick turnaround
- Follow our style guide, editorial strategy, and publishing standards to ensure high-quality content
- What We Offer:
- Compensation: $21–$25 per hour. Compensation within this range is based on experience and qualifications, with $21 per hour as the starting rate.
- Reliable payment: Paid on time, twice a month

- Requirements:
- 3+ years of writing or editing experience
- Proficiency in CMS platforms
- Familiarity with AP Style
