About the position
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new delivery program launching in the area. The role involves recruiting local businesses to join the delivery partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors, visiting prospective businesses, pitching the program, qualifying businesses, guiding them through the application process, driving referrals through community organizations, and coordinating recruitment events. This position requires travel (up to a two-hour driving distance) and offers a commission for each partner converted.
- Responsibilities
- Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns (up to a two-hour driving distance).
- Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses to generate interest in applying.
- Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process while managing pipeline activity in Salesforce.
- Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers, such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
- Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.
- Requirements
- 1+ years in sales and/or customer service experience.
- Experience in outside/field sales.
- CRM experience required, with Salesforce preferred.
- Outbound sales experience.
