Job Description
I own a remodeling / construction business and I’m looking for an experienced forensic accountant to review our financials. We are bringing money in, but cash flow keeps going negative. I need help determining whether this is due to higher expenses than profit, accounting errors, or possible misappropriation of funds. Scope of work •Review bank statements and credit cards • Review accounting records (QuickBooks) • Review payroll and vendor payments • Analyze cash flow and job costing • Identify discrepancies, errors, or red flags • Provide a clear written summary of findings Time period Last 12 to 24 months Requirements • CPA with forensic accounting experience • Experience with small businesses or construction preferred • Discrete, professional, and detail oriented Budget Open to hourly or fixed price.
