Software Developer (Java or Python | Must have GCP) W2
Location: CT, Remote
Duration: 6 months C2H
Interview: online assessment and virtual interview
- Note:
- Candidate must complete a 30-40 minute online assessment, verifying ID and answering 3 intermediate technical questions
- They also have to have a valid Manager or Lead reference with a verifiable LinkedIn profile
- Looking for a developer with GCP, not an engineer
- Old LinkedIn with location
- Must-haves:
- Hands-on development experience with Java or Python
- Hands-on GCP required - GKE, Cloud Composer, DataFlow
- + Back-end knowledge - Postgres or MongoDB
- CI/CD and DevOps knowledge - team is working on GitHub actions (moving away from Jenkins but Jenkins is OK)
- API knowledge - Knows how proxies work
- Needs to be a doer - proactive, not an order taker
- Willingness to learn and step into many roles
- Flexible
- Healthcare is highly preferred
- Required Skills
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python and REST APIs.
- Hands-on GCP experience (GKE, Cloud Composer, GCS, Dataflow).
- Proficient with Airflow (DAG design + orchestration).
- Experience with Postgres and MongoDB.
- API gateways: Apigee and APIC.
- Familiar with DevOps practices (Git/Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
- Observability using Grafana.
