Job Search Strategy Consultant (Remote) Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Position Type: Contract / Part-Time Compensation: $25 – $35 per hour (NYC Pay Transparency Compliant) About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Job Search Strategy Consultant to support educators in navigating the job application process with clarity and confidence. This role focuses on helping clients apply intentionally, position themselves effectively, and secure interviews through structured job search strategies. The ideal candidate understands both the education landscape and modern hiring practices and can guide clients in developing a focused, organized, and effective job search approach. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one coaching to educators on job search strategy and planning Help clients identify target roles, schools, or organizations aligned with their goals Develop personalized job search plans, including timelines and application strategies Guide clients on where and how to apply (school websites, job boards, networking, etc.) Support clients in tracking applications, follow-ups, and interview opportunities Teach effective networking strategies, including outreach to school leaders and recruiters Collaborate with resume and interview coaches to ensure alignment across services Provide actionable feedback to improve client outcomes and increase interview success Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Education or related field preferred) Background in education (teaching, leadership, administration, or coaching) Experience with job search coaching, recruitment, or hiring processes Strong understanding of education hiring practices and timelines Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills Ability to provide structured, goal-oriented guidance Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting educators in securing teaching or leadership roles Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and hiring trends Experience with LinkedIn, networking strategies, and outreach coaching Career coaching or consulting experience Why Join Us Fully remote, flexible schedule Opportunity to make a direct impact on educators’ career success Mission-driven work focused on growth and opportunity in education Collaborative team environment with other education professionals Important Note on Scheduling This is a client-based role.
