Job Description
We are hiring experienced Seasonal Customer Support Agents to assist customers using a major consumer tax software platform during peak US tax season.
This is a short-term remote contract opportunity for agents who are confident in supporting customers through tax software navigation, basic troubleshooting, and structured support workflows.
Training begins immediately.
Contract Duration
Approximately 6 to 8 weeks, depending on business needs and performance.
Pay & Schedule
- $13 per hour
- Weekly payment for approved hours
- Multiple shifts available, including evenings and weekends
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide inbound customer support via phone and chat
- Guide customers through tax software navigation and filing workflows
- Help customers locate prior-year returns, amendments, and account information
- Troubleshoot basic product and “how-to” issues
- Document interactions accurately in support systems
- Escalate complex cases following defined processes
Required Experience
To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience supporting consumer tax software such as TurboTax or assisting customers during tax filing processes.
Strong candidates typically have experience with:
- Seasonal tax support or financial software customer service
- Phone and chat-based technical or product support
- Working in structured remote support environments
- Handling sensitive financial or personal customer data
Technical Requirements (Mandatory)
You must have a compliant home office setup, including:
- Windows-based computer (Mac devices are not supported)
- Minimum 8 GB RAM (12 GB preferred)
- Reliable wired internet connection
- USB noise-canceling headset
- Ability to work in secure browser or VPN environments
- Stable power and connectivity suitable for production work
Additional Requirements
- It will be an advantage to be located in the United States, and legally allowed to work in the US.
- Strong English communication skills
- Available to begin training immediately
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven support environment
- Willing to undergo required background screening
