Job Details
We are looking for a Permanent BIM Technician with a passion for engineering and a keen eye for detail. As a BIM Technician, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining 3D models using REVIT and AutoCAD software. This is a hybrid or remote position, and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain accurate 3D models using REVIT and AutoCAD software
o 3D Modeling in REVIT
o Creating plans, sections, elevations, 3D views and schedules from REVIT model
o Drafting details in both REVIT and AUTOCAD
o Transferring redlines to REVIT and AUTOCAD
o Producing construction documents in both REVIT and AUTOCAD
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that all project requirements are met
- Review and analyze construction documents, blueprints, and redlines to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage and organize project files and documentation
- Provide technical support to project teams and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM software and technology trends and make recommendations for process improvements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in BIM modeling, drafting, and construction document management
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with bluebeam software is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Building Information Modeling or Computer Aided Drafting or Technical certification in Building Information Modeling is preferred
