Equity Only | 0.4 Percent | 1-2 Hours per Week | Founding Consultant We are currently renewing or initiating our insurance, so you will be busy right away. We will request more time up front and then less as we approach steady state once insurance has been renewed/obtained. We are seeking a Founding Fractional Chief Operating Officer (Ecosystem Operations) for an equity-only role. This individual will be hands-on and will operationalize and enhance the company’s operational, financial, and strategic processes, ensuring alignment with its growth-oriented vision.

Responsibilities include refining and implementing business plans, managing week-to-week operations, optimizing workflows, analyzing data trends, and coordinating financial and budgetary activities. This is a remote role, requiring self-motivated individuals to collaboratively build and manage dynamic operational frameworks for the organization’s ecosystem, in collaboration with others, and leveraging our AI dashboards. We are seeking a Founding Fractional Chief Operating Officer to ensure that work across the ecosystemremains organized, aligned, and consistently moving forward. This is a hands-on operational coordination role focused on execution, clarity, and consistency. The role is structured for high-leverage contribution within a limited time commitment (1-2 hours per week) and is primarily asynchronous. This individual will need to support a centralized, standardized insurance model across the ecosystem. We are building a healthcare and health technology management platform designed to steward and unify a constellation of clinical, research, and technology entities operating nationally and internationally. This part of the role functions as an internal insurance coordination and execution layer, paired with external, properly licensed brokerage infrastructure. The platform defines insurance structure, carrier approach, and standardization, while this role enables compliant interaction with broker platforms and carrier markets through an affiliated external brokerage. This individual will also need to be willing to appropriately step in to fill gaps and ensure smooth processes when other Founding Team members may be away or not yet selected. Core Responsibilities

Operational

Coordination and Visibility Maintain clear visibility into active initiatives across clinical, research, technology, and partnership workstreams

Ensure each initiative has

a defined purpose a current status a clear next step

Identify gaps in ownership, sequencing, or execution

    Ensure that priorities remain aligned with overall direction
  • Milestones, Cadence, and Reporting Establish and maintain a consistent cadence for:

weekly status checks monthly summaries quarterly reporting

Track milestones across

product development clinical initiatives research outputs partnerships and commercialization

Support preparation of

board updates investor-facing summaries internal progress reporting

Identify and address

over-scoping misalignment between timelines and capacity unclear deliverables

Communication

Quality and Consistency Review key materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency

Ensure that communications

reflect actual readiness and progress clearly define ownership and next steps are appropriate for the intended audience

Develop and maintain structured templates for:

updates summaries cross-functional coordination

    Reduce unnecessary back-and-forth by improving how information is organized and presented
  • Systems and Workflow Integration Connect workflows across:

multiple entities consultants and team members internal and external collaborators

Establish simple, reliable systems for:

tracking work documenting decisions maintaining continuity

Ensure that key information is consistently accessible and up to date

5.

Insurance

Coordination (Internal Lead Responsibility) This role includes full responsibility for internal insurance coordination across the ecosystem. Maintain a centralized view of:

malpractice coverage general liability coverage related policies across all entities

Track

policy terms renewal timelines covered clinicians and entities

Coordinate with external brokers to:

request and review quotes compare coverage options confirm appropriate coverage

Manage

certificate of insurance requests policy updates and endorsements onboarding of new clinicians into existing coverage

Ensure

coverage remains consistent across entities no gaps or lapses occur documentation is organized and current This role does not involve placing insurance or acting as a broker. It is focused on coordination, oversight, and continuity.
