Job Description
We're an AI automation agency building custom AI agents, workflow automation, and intelligent systems for B2B companies across the US and Europe (SMB and mid-market). We're located in Boston, US. We have a growing volume of client work spanning different types of AI agentic implementations - and we're looking for one more developer to join the team.
This isn't a boring maintenance gig. You'll be working on cool projects that drive real results for our clients - from AI chatbots and vertical knowledge bases to complex multi-agent systems and full GTM automation stacks. No two projects look the same.
The kind of work you'll be doing:
Building complex agentic systems - multi-step AI agents that research, decide, and act autonomously
Designing and deploying RAG systems with vector databases (Pinecone) for vertical knowledge bases
Creating AI-powered chatbots and conversational agents for client-facing use cases
Building end-to-end automation workflows in n8n and Make — content creation pipelines, cross-posting systems, lead enrichment flows, CRM automation
Integrating with CRMs and business tools - HubSpot, Salesforce, ClickUp, Monday.com, Apollo, Clay
Working with LLM APIs (Claude API, OpenAI) to build intelligent agents that go beyond simple prompting
Writing Python backends with FastAPI for custom webhook handlers, API orchestration, and agent logic
Deploying and maintaining systems on Railway, Vercel, Google Cloud, and AWS
Using Claude Code for development workflows
Examples of recent projects (so you know what to expect):
AI agent that preps sales reps before every call - pulls CRM data, enriches contacts, generates talking points
Vertical knowledge base with RAG for a professional services firm - AI agent answers domain-specific questions using their internal docs
Content creation and cross-posting system - AI generates, adapts, and distributes content across multiple channels
Signal-based prospecting engine - monitors hiring, funding, and job changes, then triggers personalized outreach
Custom chatbot for a B2B SaaS company that qualifies leads and books meetings
What we're looking for
Technical requirements:
Agentic AI systems - you've built agents that do more than answer questions. Multi-step reasoning, tool use, decision-making
RAG systems - experience with embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone or similar), retrieval pipelines
n8n and/or Make - real production workflows, not tutorial follow-alongs
API integration - you can read docs and connect any service without hand-holding. REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows
LLM APIs - hands-on experience building with Claude API, OpenAI API, or both
Python + FastAPI - enough to build backends, webhook handlers, and custom agent logic
CRM platforms - worked with at least 2 of: HubSpot, Salesforce, ClickUp, Monday.com
Cloud deployment - comfortable with Railway, Vercel, Google Cloud, or AWS
Data and enrichment tools - experience with Apollo, Clay, or similar prospecting/enrichment platforms
Beyond the technical skills:
You follow what's happening in AI. You watch what's coming out of OpenAI, Anthropic, and the open-source community. You know what Claude Code is. When a new capability drops, you're already thinking about how to use it - not hearing about it two months later
You solve problems, not just follow instructions. When something breaks or a client needs something unusual, you figure it out
You communicate clearly. Async-first, but you respond within a few hours during working hours and flag blockers before they become problems
You want to grow. We have enough client volume that once you prove your value in the first few months, there's real opportunity to take on more complex projects, grow your skills, and increase your role
Schedule and availability
Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Required availability: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST, mostly weekdays, occasionally weekends (flexible schedule)
Style: Async-first with real-time collaboration when needed
Duration: Ongoing (3+ months minimum, likely much longer)
Budget: $10-15/hour
How to apply
Skip the generic cover letter. We want to see what you've actually built.
Answer these 3 things:
Show me real technical examples of what you've built. Screenshots, Loom videos, GitHub repos, live demos — anything that shows your actual work. We want to see agentic systems, RAG implementations, n8n/Make workflows, or AI-powered tools you've created. The more specific, the better.
What's your availability? Timezone, working hours, and can you commit to the 5 AM – 2 PM EST window on weekdays?
What's your goal for the next 4 months? Where are you trying to go professionally? What kind of work excites you? We want someone who's here to grow with us, not just clock hours.
Final step: Top candidates will be given a paid trial task ($50-100) to prove the value before we commit. This is how we evaluate — not interviews.
