The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Analyst to join our Interest Rate Derivatives Sales team in our New York office. Reporting to the Managing Director of Bank Solutions, this role requires that employees will be available to work in an office with the potential for occasional hybrid or remote work.

Our team helps regional and community banks offer interest rate hedging solutions to their commercial borrowers. We also help banks use interest rate derivatives to manage interest rate risk on their own balance sheet. We are effectively the interest rate sales and trading team for over 250 banks across the U.S.

This is a client‑facing role that involves daily interaction with bank executives and commercial banking lenders, as well as the trading desks of large money‑center swap dealers. You will support the daily activities of senior derivatives sales team members, structure and execute derivatives transactions, and assist with ad hoc projects.

Success in the role requires a foundational knowledge of financial markets with strong interpersonal skills. Experience with banking and financial markets is ideal, but we do not expect candidates to have a deep understanding of derivatives. Training and support will be provided as needed.

  • Respond to client inquiries about pricing and structuring of interest rate derivatives
  • Prepare client presentations and marketing materials
  • Execute interest rate derivative trades with swap dealers and commercial borrowers
  • Maintain details of sales activities in our CRM platform
  • Communicate current market trends in an easily understood written format
  • Coordinate onboarding for new transactions with partners in Legal, Compliance, and Operations
  • Educate bank executives, lenders and borrowers on derivatives transactions that accomplish their risk‑management objectives
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience in work experience (or internships) in a sales & trading environment or similar analytical environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior quantitative skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in financial markets/banking
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Desire to expand your skill‑set and contribute in many ways to a fast‑growing fintech firm
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Prior experience with banking, financial markets, or interest rate derivatives is preferred but not required
