Position: Senior Attorney or Legal Academic
Type: Part-time, project-based
Compensation: $110ā$140/hour
Duration: 4ā6 weeks
Commitment: ~5 hours/week
- Role Responsibilities
- Review legal documents to confirm alignment with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
- Validate content related to ABLE accounts, guardianship, and special needs trusts.
- Ensure correctness and clarity on Medicaid eligibility and SSI application processes.
- Provide expert feedback to improve dataset quality.
- Collaborate asynchronously and meet all deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must-Have
- 10+ years of experience in special needs law or related academic fields.
- Expertise in trust structures and disability benefits law.
- Advanced understanding of Medicaid and SSI regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and legal writing skills.
- Strong detail orientation.
