Assurance Dimensions is a licensed and growing CPA firm offering tailored financial business solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Audit Associate to join their assurance team, where the role involves assisting in audit procedures and gaining exposure to various industries.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the performance of audit, review, and compilation procedures under supervision
- Prepare workpapers and documentation that support audit conclusions
- Learn to apply accounting and auditing principles to real-world scenarios
- Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and team members
- Assist in gathering and organizing client data and supporting documentation
- Stay current on changes in accounting and auditing standards and firm procedures
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous learning
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 3.0 GPA or higher in major preferred
- Understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
- Minimum of 1 year of public accounting or audit experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to audit software is a plus (Case Ware & Idea)
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
