Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aduro Advisors is looking for bright and talented individuals to join their team supporting top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. The Management Company Staff Accountant role involves supporting the accounting and operations functions for a portfolio of clients, providing hands-on experience in accounting while fostering client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Review and process Expensify reports
- Documentation and reconciliation of bank statements, credit card statements, cash expenditures
- Financial reporting support for monthly review, and general ledger / trial balance
- Request, receive, and store W-9s
- 1099 reporting
- Process accounts payable on a weekly basis using Bill.com
- Prepare intercompany invoicing process and process reimbursements
- Handles special projects and other duties as assigned
Skills
- 0 – 2 years of work experience or professional internships in relevant accounting roles
- Diverse work experience in a service focused role is a plus!
- Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
- Naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills
- Track record of being a project leader and have strong organizational skills
- Value in providing excellent customer service, being thoughtful and know the details make the difference
- Working experience with Excel and Word
- Comfortable with learning new software systems and tend to be someone that likes to be proficient in any system they use
- Passion for numbers and want to build your accounting career
