The Associate-Digital Product Ops role focuses on leading connectivity efforts to ensure customers can connect and complete transactions on the American Express Network, while managing projects and building relationships with various stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Leading the connectivity efforts that help ensure customers can successfully connect to and complete transactions on the American Express Network
  • Building relationships with internal and external customers
  • Managing connectivity projects (this includes supporting network connectivity, facilitating the implementation of customers and solutions in production that enable card acceptance)
  • Representing PPE in a professional manner to all customers (internal and external)

Skills

  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with various business units
  • Knowledge of connectivity (IPs, iVPN, MPLS/Ethernet)
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to successfully manage 20-30 projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate technical details to non-technical business partners
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage escalations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage the completion of tasks
  • Strong will to win and able to work as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic with a fun and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of the payments industry and emerging technology preferred
  • Familiarity with authorization, financial, and non-financial message file formats desired
  • Familiarity with the American Express payment platforms and processes a plus
