The Sage Intacct Business Development Representative will initiate outreach to prospective clients and engage them in meaningful conversations about modern cloud ERP solutions and AI-enabled workflows.
Responsibilities
- Initiate outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, and creative prospecting
- Identify opportunities using frameworks like BANT
- Engage finance leaders and business owners in meaningful conversations
- Qualify pain points around reporting, visibility, and scalability
- Set up high-quality meetings for our advisory and sales team
- Build and manage your own pipeline over time
Skills
- Experience in a lead generation, SDR, or BDR-type role
- Comfort with sales frameworks (BANT, SPIN, or similar)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
- Ability to handle objections without sounding scripted
- Interest in business, finance, or technology (ERP, AI, automation)
- Self-starter mentality with a desire to grow
