Risk Placement Services is a dynamic insurance brokerage firm seeking driven individuals for their Producer Development Program. The role focuses on business development, client engagement, and revenue generation through tailored insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective clients
- Build relationships and drive interest in tailored insurance solutions
- Engage in prospecting activities and set appointments
- Support revenue generation for producers
- Manage accounts and guide clients through the sales cycle
- Develop technical skills needed in the insurance brokerage industry
- Work closely with underwriters and carriers to build strong partnerships
- Network, research, and initiate conversations to drive success
Skills
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least one year of experience in a related field
- Experience from relationship‑driven, service‑based sales environments
- Managing longer sales cycles with a strong focus on client trust
- Ongoing account management and renewal or repeat‑business growth rather than one‑time transactions
- Experience with cold calling, lead generation, and converting prospects into customers
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell products or services effectively
- A strong sense of urgency and persistence, thriving in high-pressure settings
- Exceptional communication skills, able to present ideas clearly and persuasively
- Emotional intelligence and adaptability to changing priorities
- Skilled at multitasking and managing multiple client interactions simultaneously
- Curiosity, learning agility, and a knack for building rapport and trust with diverse customers
