Job Description

BeneSys, Inc. is seeking a motivated self-starter to join their team as a Quality Assurance Business Analyst. In this role, you will work with the QA team to test development changes and the BA team to investigate client-reported issues, provide training, and write documentation. A background in health insurance or SaaS is helpful but not required.


Responsibilities

  • Document and track change requests in the IT ticket system
  • Testing of new system releases and patches
  • Document changes to system
  • Work with development team to design user-friendly software solutions
  • Assist with implementation team to manage projects as needed
  • Provide customer support and end-user training as needed
  • Troubleshooting of claims processing and system issues
  • Document procedures
  • Provides analysis, definition, and direction to computer applications related development and maintenance activities
  • Ensures correct business functionality, requirements, and industry standards are addressed within the software application
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher - preferred
  • Experience working in medical claims processing, medical coding, or software configuration - preferred
  • Enthusiasm for learning new things and a willingness to become a subject matter expert in Spyglass
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to calculate accumulators involved in claims processing, such as different out of pocket and coordination of benefit methodologies
  • Applicant must be located in the greater Indianapolis area and able to commute to our Carmel, IN office
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Background knowledge in health insurance and/or Software as a Service (SaaS)
