Job Description
EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is one of the fastest-growing firms in the insurance industry, headquartered in San Francisco with over 3,000 employees nationwide. They are seeking a Claims Liaison to manage claims communication between clients, customs brokers, and surety partners, ensuring efficient service and support for U.S. Customs Bond products.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day service and support for U.S. Customs Bond products
- Act as a primary liaison managing the claims communication between the Importer of Record, Customs Brokers, and our surety partners
- Serve as the primary conduit for bond claims and subrogation matters, including facilitating and auditing documentation, tracking claim status and seeking reimbursement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Customs Broker clients and Surety Partner
- Assist bond underwriters with servicing existing clients and delivering high quality client service
- Support underwriting activities by collecting required information, performing data entry, and helping evaluate risk factors
- Organize, monitor and manage bond and claims files to ensure accuracy, follow ups and compliance
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of materials for clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders
Skills
- 1 plus years of Claims experience required
- Strong verbal and written skill essential
- Exceptional Attention to Detail, Proactive Demeanor, Technical Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word and Adobe
- Organizational Skills & Time Management with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality results in a timely manner
- Bachelor's Degree
