Job Description
DOPE Marketing is a fast-growing direct mail SaaS and print platform helping service-based businesses win more customers through hyper-targeted campaigns. The Community & Content Marketing Coordinator will engage with the community, manage social media interactions, and support content creation and marketing efforts across various digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and personally respond to all social media comments and Facebook Messenger inquiries - real human responses, no copy-paste templates
- Triage inbound comments: identify sales leads vs. support needs and route them to the right team member
- Join relevant Facebook Groups, Reddit communities, and online forums to build genuine brand relationships and awareness
- Actively engage (like, comment, contribute) on DOPE's social channels to lift organic reach
- Work within Crisp to manage conversations across chat, social, and email from one platform
- Assist with organic content creation and scheduling across Meta, Youtube, TikTok and other platforms
- Support email marketing campaigns - list management, sending, and light copywriting
- Help maintain and grow our Circle community presence
- Support and contribute to live content produced by the DOPE team - including livestreams, webinars, and podcast episodes
- Help coordinate logistics for live events: scheduling, promotion, platform setup, and real-time audience engagement
- Clip, repurpose, and distribute live and pre-recorded content across social channels to maximize reach
- Own the organization and management of DOPE's content library - live recordings, podcast episodes, webinar replays, and video assets
- Build and maintain a content calendar that keeps live and pre-recorded output consistent, on-brand, and strategically timed
- Coordinate with the broader marketing team to align content themes with campaigns, product launches, and seasonal pushes
- Assist on the DOPE Shopify storefront - product pages, updates, and conversion optimization
- Support landing page builds and updates using templates and AI-powered tools
- Manage lead intake and basic CRM hygiene
- Get cross-trained in media buying basics (Facebook/Meta) and Reddit marketing by your manager
- Clear path to broader digital marketing and paid media responsibilities as the team expands
Skills
- Strong communicator - you write like a human, not a chatbot
- Some social media experience (personal or professional - we'll train the rest)
- Curiosity about websites, Shopify, or landing pages - even if it's just tinkering
- Tech-comfortable - You pick up new tools quickly (Crisp, Meta, Shopify, Canva, etc.)
- Primarily in-office in Minneapolis with remote flexibility: real-time presence matters for this role
- Prior agency or brand experience is a plus, not a requirement
