Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading consulting firm that is seeking a Supplier Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding activities for new suppliers. The role involves ensuring accurate supplier setup, maintaining high quality supplier master data, and delivering a seamless onboarding experience for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding activities for new suppliers through the company’s Supplier Portal as a Supplier Onboarding Specialist on the Supplier and Risk Management Team (SRMT)
- Help ensure accurate supplier setup, maintain high quality supplier master data, and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Support core operational workflows that reinforce data integrity, compliance with internal controls, and SRMT’s broader supplier management objectives
- Support end-to-end onboarding of third-party suppliers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and SOX control requirements
- Create, maintain, and validate supplier records in alignment with SRMT procedures, governance standards, and master-data best practices
- Maintain supplier master data, documentation, and electronic records in accordance with data protection, audit readiness, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate onboarding activities, address routine questions, and support the onboarding lifecycle
- Guide suppliers through system setup steps, required documentation, and onboarding requirement
- Support broader SRMT operational activities and priority initiatives, including supplier segmentation, due diligence coordination, and ongoing supplier profile maintenance
- Track onboarding progress, identify delays or data quality issues, and follow established escalation paths as directed by senior team members
Skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet varying deadlines
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail and commit to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collectively as a part of a team
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with supplier onboarding, supply chain operations, data management, or supplier lifecycle management
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possession of strong time management and organizational skills
