Job Description

Motorola Solutions is a global community focused on safety and security technologies. The Sales Administrator I will assist the sales team by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing post-sales support.


Responsibilities

  • Support with managing individual team’s inbox to ensure timely response to inquiries
  • Receive, process, and confirm customer purchase orders
  • Enter sales orders accurately and efficiently into the CRM system
  • Collect and verify detailed end-user information for each order
  • Handle FCC Authorization Forms for US-based orders
  • Partner with Senior Sales Administrators to manage the complete order lifecycle from receipt to fulfillment
  • Communicate with customers via email and phone to address inquiries and provide updates
  • Serve as a liaison among various departments, including finance, shipping, and supply chain
  • Provide customers with timely updates on the status of their orders
  • Manage customer requests for order modifications or cancellations
  • Escalate high-priority tasks to senior staff with analysis and recommended actions
  • Assist with any other ad-hoc task assigned by leads/managers to support the team as necessary

Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience supporting a sales team in a tech-related or manufacturing field
  • Basic experience or exposure to CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) for managing and tracking customer and sales data
  • Proficiency in numeracy
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, experiencing multiple deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Gmail or Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent and effective oral and written communication
