Job Description

The California Department of Justice is expanding its Grant Management Unit and is seeking a motivated Grant Support Analyst. This role involves supporting grant management processes, analyzing legislation, and contributing to proposal development to enhance public safety and community partnerships.

Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of new grant management processes and systems to be utilized across DOJ offices
Track and analyze grant-related legislation, regulations, and funding opportunities to identify new program possibilities and compliance requirements
Contribute to proposal development and coordination of grant applications
Assist with tracking and researching grant funding sources, legislation, and compliance requirements
Participate in process improvement efforts, contributing ideas for streamlining workflows and enhancing communication
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission and proper recordkeeping of grant-related materials
Demonstrate strong organization, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and adaptability while managing multiple assignments
