Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Northwest Cascade, home of Honey Bucket, is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support their Payroll Team. This entry-level remote position involves managing payroll data, assisting with payroll billings, and providing administrative support to the team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure new hire onboarding is completed accurately in Paylocity
- Maintain and audit employee payroll data
- Assist with payroll billings and reporting
- Respond to Verifications of Employment (VOEs)
- Support benefits administration tasks
- Run and distribute recurring payroll reports
- Provide administrative support to the Payroll Team
- Enter and review employee changes in Paylocity
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, data organization)
- Team player willing to handle administrative tasks
- Curious mindset—asks questions and wants to understand the 'why'
- Organized, reliable, and process-driven
- Payroll and/or Paylocity experience is a plus
