Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hologic, Inc. is dedicated to improving women's health globally. They are seeking a Surgical Market Access Specialist who will support Market Access efforts within the GYN Surgical business unit by researching market trends, creating communications, and participating in health economics meetings with physician offices and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for procedure coverage with health plan and state Medicaid plans
- Perform research to support the existing and future portfolio of GYN Surgical products
- Synthesize relevant information from internal communications, industry reports, and analyses (qualitative / quantitative) & elevate takeaways to leadership
- Create deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint slides, Excel files) for internal & external meetings
- Draft messaging for important Market Access announcements
- Assist in creating and presenting health economic budget impact models to customers
- Support strategic Market Access initiatives as they emerge
- Constantly improve personal knowledge of the market access and reimbursement landscape, staying up to date with federal/state policies, and emerging trends in the GYN surgical industry
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience working in a corporate environment
- Healthcare/Medical Device/Health plan experience a plus
- Previous Healthcare billing experience
- Certified coder is a plus
- Ability to think logically about complex problems
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional areas
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to take initiative and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Bachelor's Degree required
