Rippling is a company that provides a unified platform for HR, IT, and Finance. The Workers’ Compensation Customer Specialist will support the workers’ compensation offering by answering customer inquiries and managing claims, while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and processing of workers' compensation claims, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Serve as a point of contact for admins, answering questions regarding their workers' compensation claims and providing guidance throughout the process
- Coordinate with insurance companies and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective claims management
- Maintain and update claim records in the company's database, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare reports and summaries on claims data, trends, and outcomes for management review
- Stay informed about changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations and ensure company procedures remain compliant
- Respond to PEO client inquiries in a timely manner for such things as custom COI’s, Billing questions, and policy questions
- Work cross-functionally to drive improvements in our post-bind process that lead to efficiency gains and improved risk management inside of Rippling’s product
- Support internal teams as a Rippling PEO workers’ compensation subject matter expert

- Excel proficiency and keen problem solving skills
- Passion for fast-paced, tech-centric organizations
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claim processes
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
