The Loan Specialist role involves guiding borrowers through the VA loan process, reviewing financial information, and ensuring a smooth experience while managing a pipeline of clients.
Responsibilities
- Connecting with borrowers, learning about their goals, and guiding conversations that help them confidently move forward with the right VA loan option
- Reviewing credit and financial information to thoughtfully match borrowers with solutions that fit their needs and set them up for success
- Walking borrowers through each step of the loan process—setting clear expectations, answering questions, and helping secure strong rates and terms
- Staying organized and proactive in managing your pipeline so each borrower receives timely follow-up and a smooth experience
- Collaborating closely with teammates and cross-functional partners to keep things moving and deliver a positive, seamless borrower experience
Skills
- NMLS licensed (but we can help you get that when you start)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to connect with borrowers and guide them through the loan process
