Job Description
Savanta is a data, market research and advisory company seeking a junior sales person to join their Client Development team. This role involves supporting new business generation and revenue growth by identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and maintaining accurate pipeline visibility in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Research and map prospects across target industries
- Qualify inbound leads and book discovery meetings
- Support the proposal and credential process, including feasibility and pricing inputs
- Maintain accurate CRM records using tools such as Salesforce or Outreach
- Stay up to date on industry trends and Savanta’s solutions and capabilities
- Partner with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and feedback loops
- Prepare and update sales and marketing support materials
- Support content creation and client engagement initiatives
- Capture and document customer interactions, meeting outcomes, and account updates in CRM
- Support account planning and lead generation activity
- Assist with sales documentation including credentials, case studies, proposals, pitch decks, costing, and contracts
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership on cross‑functional projects
Skills
- A minimum of one years' experience in a B2B sales or lead generation roles
- Passion for building a career in sales, commercial strategy, or client development
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Confidence communicating via email, phone, and virtual meetings
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales technology
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality output
- Ability to effectively prioritize stakeholder and internal requests simultaneously
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite with ability to quickly grasp commercial software
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, or similar CRM tools
- Experience working in a fast‑paced or high‑performance team environment
- Interest in or understanding of the breadth of market research techniques
