AtkinsRéalis is committed to designing a better future for our planet and its people. They are seeking a proactive and motivated BIM Coordinator to manage, coordinate, and ensure the quality of BIM data for infrastructure, rail, and transportation projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the integration of discipline-specific models into the project's federated model
- Identify conflicts or inconsistencies in federated models and communicate them to design teams for resolution
- Prepare and update coordination files, ensuring compliance with project standards
- Organize BIM coordination reviews and document technical issues to follow up on
- Verify the consistency of federated models with BEP requirements and project standards
- Collaborate with discipline teams to improve modelling and coordination practices
- Contribute to documenting coordination processes in the project's collaborative tools
- Participate in implementing the BEP in line with coordination objectives
- Stay up to date on BIM tools and methods and propose technical improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or BIM certification is an asset
- Minimum 1 to 5 years in BIM coordination on infrastructure, rail, or construction projects
- Understanding of major BIM software (modeling and coordination platforms)
- Understanding integrating federated models and clash detection
- Ability to understand and implement Information Management processes and procedures
- English required (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail, rigor, and strong organizational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
