Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kroll is a global leader in financial and risk advisory solutions, and they are seeking an Analyst in Transfer Pricing. The role involves conducting financial customs and tariff analyses, supporting international trade projects, and performing industry research to help companies comply with trade regulations and optimize their supply chains.
Responsibilities
- Experience in trade compliance, customs, and Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)
- Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, including U.S. Customs regulations, import/export laws, and international trade agreements
- Prepare and submit import/export documentation (e.g., entry summaries, commercial invoices, packing lists) to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance
- Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assess duties, taxes, and trade program eligibility (e.g., USMCA, GSP)
- Maintain and monitor records of import/export activity to ensure audit readiness and compliance with customs regulations
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve import/export issues and ensure smooth cross-border transactions
- Performing financial and statistical analysis for clients that include Fortune 500 companies, top ranked law firms, non-profits, and government organizations
- Conducting interviews with our clientsβ executive leadership teams to gather focused insight into their companyβs global customs and international trade operations
- Undertaking in-depth company, industry, and market research
- Writing client reports, speaking at seminars, and preparing industry articles
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Management (with a concentration in Economics or Finance) or other degree (with a minimum of four Junior and/or Senior level courses in Economics or Finance) from an accredited university or college
