GetMyCourse is a company in the legal industry seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support and customer service in the immigration field. The role involves managing client records, responding to inquiries, and assisting with immigration-specific tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage emails, calendars, and appointments
- Organize and maintain client records and legal documents
- Prepare and format immigration forms (e.g., visa applications, petitions)
- Data entry into CRM or case management systems
- Schedule consultations and follow-ups
- Respond to client inquiries via email and chat
- Guide clients on document requirements and next steps
- Handle complaints or concerns professionally
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients
- Assist in document collection (passports, IDs, proof of funds, etc.)
- Track application deadlines and submission timelines
- Coordinate with clients for missing or incomplete requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information
Skills
- Background in immigration, legal services, or BPO is a strong advantage
- Experience using tools like: Case management software (Clio, MyCase, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail (very important in legal documents)
- Organized
- Punctual and driven
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
