Job Description

Macquarie Group is a global financial services group operating in 31 markets. The role focuses on Principal Finance’s Equity and Capital Solutions strategy, where the candidate will identify, analyze, execute, and manage investment opportunities across various sectors.


Responsibilities

  • Leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counterparties and external experts
  • Presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions
  • Gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses with an evidence-based approach
  • Preparing critical analysis including robust financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis
  • Distilling information into succinct investment committee memos / external presentations

Skills

  • 1-4 years of experience in full-service M&A, capital markets and/or investing
  • Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with extensive exposure to business analysis/research and financial modelling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
