Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KDG is a technology company seeking an Associate Developer to support the development of software solutions that deliver value for customers. The role involves coding, testing, and maintaining applications under the guidance of senior developers and project managers, ideal for someone early in their career eager to grow their technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams through clear and consistent communication
- Assist in developing applications using Microsoft technology stacks
- Support the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of applications and databases
- Work with analysts, developers, and end users to ensure applications function as expected
- Assist in UI/UX design efforts with a focus on user-centered solutions
- Participate in code reviews and learn to identify performance and security improvements
- Help maintain and update relational, flat-file, and PaaS databases
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with guidance from senior team members
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and QA analysts to support new features and applications
- Troubleshoot basic application, UI, and database issues
- Review and format correspondence and documentation for accuracy
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline OR 0–2 years of relevant experience in software development
- Basic experience or coursework with source control technologies such as Git
- Foundational knowledge of one or more programming languages within Microsoft technology stacks
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with general cybersecurity best practices is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow direction while also showing initiative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance and supervision
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines
