Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lexipol is dedicated to creating safer communities through content and technology solutions for public safety agencies. The CMS Specialist plays a critical role in producing policy manuals and related content, ensuring clarity and accuracy in digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Use Lexipol’s proprietary content management systems to publish policy content efficiently and accurately
- Apply AP and in-house style guidelines rigorously in all authoring, editing, proofreading, and publication tasks
- Ensure content is accessible and formatted correctly
- Use Microsoft Word to review and manage documents with precision according to workflow requirements
- Track data needed for key performance metrics related to content production and content engagement
- Collaborate effectively with the CMS Specialists and other Content team members, including editors and public safety content developers, to provide feedback that enhances content quality
- Construct and deploy targeted, HTML-formatted emails that support customer engagement with the CMS
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under tight deadlines without compromising on quality or accuracy
Skills
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the US

- Proficient authoring in content management systems and capable of publishing and testing content within such platforms
- Ability to balance speed with meticulous attention to detail; thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operation
- Excellent knowledge of standard English, with proven editing, proofreading, and content testing skills
- Familiarity with AP style
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside content strategists, editors, legal professionals, and public safety experts preferred
- Innately curious, consistently seeking out new knowledge and experiences, with the confidence to experiment with new technology and technical capabilities in support of innovation and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Systems, Information Management, or related field or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of HTML preferred
- Experience with Wrike, Trello, Confluence, JIRA, or other similar workflow management systems
- Experience with Pardot, Hubspot, or similar marketing content automation and targeting tools is a plus
