Job Description

BPA is more than an engineering firm — it’s a passionate team shaping the buildings and infrastructure of tomorrow. They are seeking a driven Mechanical Technologist to help design mechanical building systems and gain hands-on experience through a comprehensive mentoring program.


Responsibilities

  • Help design mechanical building systems for various projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
  • Work primarily on the layout of the applicable business sector
  • Survey existing conditions under mentor’s supervision
  • Help draw up plans in AutoCAD and Revit

Skills

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Science Technology
  • Member of OACETT (or in process) an asset
  • Any experience in consulting engineering, or other relevant experience is an asset, including internships
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit and Office 365 Suite
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Excellent communications skills, with a client focus & collaborative mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Eligibility to obtain a Canadian Reliability Status
  • Availability to be Full-time in office for the first 6 months of employment
