They are seeking a hybrid Account Executive / Community Manager who is passionate about social media and can engage with audiences effectively while supporting social media programs and content creation.
Responsibilities
- Support the Social Content Team lead in day-to-day operations of social media programs and accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Prepare and lead status meetings with clearly defined action items for the team
- Assist with the production of social media content
- Uphold Social Playbooks, and ensure processes are followed
- Act as a culture hunter - identify social media trends and help the brand jump into the conversation across TikTok, Twitter and Instagram
- Maintain and update social content calendar, and support with posting contentEngage in fun, playful banter with our brand fans on marketing content as needed- some evenings and weekends required
- Support the development of platform content plans/calendars
- Support strategic conversations by translating client goals into actionable creative solutions
Skills
- 1-2 years experience in community management or account services with strong interest in social
- Ability to write, communicate and present with confidence
- Strong project management skills with an ability to multitask
- Organized and detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability and willingness to work in a very fast-paced environment with quick turnaround and tight deadlines
- A flexible schedule
- Solutions oriented and a true team player
- In-depth knowledge of digital platforms like: Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, X, TikTok and YouTube
- A genuine, honest and unapologetic love of social media, with a love for internet/meme culture and some humour and writing skills to participate in it
- Content production experience a bonus
