A leading global technology company is seeking a Product Counsel to support its legal team on a full-time contract basis. This role will focus on advising on products and features related to user-generated content, partnering closely with product, legal, and cross-functional teams to address regulatory and litigation matters impacting the platform.

Duration: ~8 months
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Location: Remote – United StatesWhat You’ll Do
- Provide product counseling for platform features involving user-generated content
- Advise internal teams on legal and regulatory risks related to platform responsibility and content moderation
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and litigation matters involving content and related product features
- Partner closely with product, policy, trust & safety, and engineering teams to support responsible product development
- Analyze evolving regulatory frameworks impacting technology platforms and content governance
- Support internal stakeholders on legal strategy related to platform integrity and user-generated content issues What We’re Looking For
- Experience advising technology companies on user-generated content, platform governance, or online services
- Background in regulatory compliance, intellectual property law, First Amendment, or CDA-related issues
- Experience supporting product teams in fast-paced technology environments
- Strong ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with legal, product, policy, and engineering stakeholders
