Job Description

Time Commitment: About 2 hours per month on average, with occasional spikes around investor outreach, pitch iterations, and diligence cycles

U.S. CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS ONLY.

Meeting Cadence: Monthly working session (60 minutes) plus light follow-up as needed

Term: Initial 12-month term, renewable annually

Compensation: Advisor Shares (performance-gated vesting)
Opportunity Overview

FalsiFind is building bank-grade deepfake and synthetic fraud detection across voice, video, image, and text. We help credit unions and financial institutions reduce impersonation, account takeover, and high-risk transaction fraud with fast, explainable outputs that fit existing fraud operations, procurement, and vendor risk requirements.

We are preparing for a Seed round and are seeking a senior Investment Strategic Advisor who can materially accelerate fundraising through targeted investor access, credible positioning, and sharp execution across outreach, meetings, and diligence.
Key Requirement (Performance Gate)

The advisor must be able to secure a qualified investment.

Qualified investment definition: Close funding into FalsiFind from a qualified investor (institutional VC, strategic investor, or accredited angel syndicate) that results in at least one executed investment agreement and cash proceeds received by the company.
Equity Structure (Standard Vesting)

Equity is granted at onboarding, but no equity vests until the performance gate is met. Once the gate is achieved, the equity then vests on a standard schedule (3-year vesting with a 1-year cliff, then monthly vesting thereafter), subject to continued service.Responsibilities
  • Drive targeted introductions to Seed-stage investors and convert them into official fundraising meetings
  • Help shape and iterate fundraising strategy (target list, narrative, sequencing, momentum, signaling)
  • Pressure-test pitch materials (deck, one-pager, data room story) for clarity, credibility, and investor fit
  • Advise on pricing the round (range guidance), round structure, and how to handle common investor objections
  • Coach the team on diligence readiness (KPIs, traction framing, risk mitigation, competitive positioning)
  • Participate in monthly working sessions and provide practical, experience-based guidance
  • Provide limited follow-up support between sessions for specific asks (warm intros, prep for key meetings, term sheet interpretation support at a high level)
  • Role Parameters and Boundaries
This is a strategic, non-fiduciary advisory role. The advisor will have no governance responsibilities, no decision-making authority, and no day-to-day operational ownership. The value is leverage through relationships, fundraising judgment, and execution support. The advisor is not acting as a broker-dealer, placement agent, or financial intermediary.Ideal Background
  • Proven experience sourcing and closing Seed-stage investments (as an investor, founder, or senior operator with credible fundraising outcomes)
  • Strong network of Seed-stage VCs, strategic investors, and/or high-quality angels relevant to fintech, fraud, identity, security, and enterprise SaaS
  • Ability to create momentum: warm intros, fast conversion to meetings, and strong follow-through through diligence
  • Clear, direct communicator with high judgment and strong narrative instincts
  • Comfort operating in regulated/financial services contexts and explaining enterprise + FI GTM in investor language
