I’m looking for an experienced HR professional to support the creation of approximately 30 HR documents that will be housed in an HR portal for business owners.
These documents will be delivered as editable Google Docs and should be practical, easy to use, and aligned with U.S. employment standards. The goal is to create high-quality, on-brand templates that business owners can confidently customize for their organizations.
This is not just a copy/paste or AI-only task—I’m looking for someone who understands HR and can use AI as a tool to enhance efficiency while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and usability.
Scope of Work:
Create ~30 HR templates (policies, forms, guides, etc.)
Ensure documents are compliant with U.S. employment standards (general, not state-specific unless noted)
Format documents cleanly in Google Docs for client use
Align tone, structure, and branding across all documents
Use AI tools efficiently while applying HR expertise to validate and refine content
Examples of Documents May Include:
Employee handbook sections
Offer letters and onboarding documents
Performance management templates
HR policies and procedures
Manager guides and communication templates
Ideal Candidate:
Has a strong HR background (3+ years preferred)
Experience creating HR policies, templates, or handbooks
Familiar with U.S. employment practices and compliance basics
Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.) to support content creation
Strong writing and formatting skills (Google Docs)
Detail-oriented and able to ensure consistency across multiple documents
Nice to Have:
Experience working with small to midsize businesses
Experience creating client-facing HR resources or toolkits
