Fruition Group is building next-generation autonomous driving systems and is seeking a Perception Engineer to develop advanced vision and multi-sensor algorithms for vehicle autonomy. The role involves designing and deploying perception models and collaborating with various teams to ensure robust performance in real-world scenarios.
- Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy perception models for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and 3D scene understanding
- Develop multi-sensor fusion pipelines (camera, LiDAR, radar) for robust real-world performance
- Optimize deep learning models for real-time, in-vehicle deployment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, controls, and systems teams to deliver production-grade autonomy
- Support data strategy, evaluation metrics, and large-scale validation efforts
- Skills
- Strong experience in computer vision and deep learning (PyTorch or equivalent)
- Production experience deploying models to edge or embedded platforms
- Background in 3D perception, SLAM, or sensor fusion
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Experience working with large-scale real-world datasets
- Autonomous driving or robotics experience
- Model optimization (quantization, mixed precision, TensorRT)
- Safety-critical or automotive-grade development exposure
