Jacobs is a company focused on solving critical problems for thriving cities and resilient environments. They are seeking a driven Civil Engineering Graduate to support their federal team, providing planning and engineering services while developing essential design skills.
Responsibilities
- Support our federal team in a hybrid capacity at our Irvine, CA office
- Join our collaborative team providing clients with planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery
- Develop site plans, utility plans, and grading plans to meet Federal design standards
- Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems
- Prepare engineering assessments, calculations, and basis of design reports
- Implement designs that are compliant with regulatory code requirements and client standards
- Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians
- Occasionally travel to project and client sites for observations and meetings
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 1 - 2 years professional working experience with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite
- United States Citizenship
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
- Experience working on land development projects
