Job Description
NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. They are seeking a social marketing strategist to support strategy development and content analysis for NBC Sports, focusing on connecting audience insights with brand priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of strategic briefs and presentations, gathering inputs from multiple stakeholders
- Manage business critical social insights workflows, including content tagging, data analysis and content evaluation
- Coordinate with Sports Marketing group to align with key business priorities, including short and long-term social strategy development
- Compile and summarize competitive and industry research to help inform social marketing strategies
- Organize and maintain engagement and growth vitals on the full suite of NBC Sports properties, making it easy for team to quickly access relevant insights and updates
Skills
- + 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, media, communications, data and analytics, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various social data and management platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr or similar)
- Comfortability managing multiple tasks simultaneously, in which no task is too big or small
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and processes
- Demonstrated interest in sports and entertainment programming and brand marketing
- Strong work ethic, with a dedication to excellence and exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in basic data analysis is required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
