Job Description
SWCA Environmental Consultants is a growing employee-owned firm providing a full spectrum of environmental services. As the North Marketing Specialist, you will support proposal development and collaborate with the Marketing and Pursuits Resources Team to deliver proposals that showcase the team's expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide proposal support assistance to proposal teams (compiling and tailoring staff resumes, firm project descriptions, and other qualification information; etc.)
- Maintain Deltek Vision database data and other marketing software tools (vendor registrations, content and photo libraries, etc.)
- Distribute and track internal decisions for bid solicitations daily
- Assist with opportunity and market research projects
- Support business development activities (research, manage data, distribute/track action items, etc.)
Skills
- A Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related discipline (degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance can be demonstrated)
- Up to 1 year of prior marketing exposure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to complete assigned tasks and multi-task in a busy environment
- Exceptional communication, listening, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Customer service-oriented and able to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Involvement in an association or volunteer organization or internship
- Experience with formatting in Word
- Experience managing data, searching and populating databases
- Experience working in Deltek Vision, SharePoint, or comparable management information system
- Experience working in professional services, preferably in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction or scientific industries
- Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
